do i need a dj mixer for this turntable?

do i need a dj mixer for this turntable to sample records in my mpc? http://www.numark.com/pt01usb .. thanks ahead time

I couldn't find wether the stereo outs are line or phono-level, but it has headphone outs so, yes, with an adapter/cable.

I just got that turntable and its got its own pre-amp. There's a switch at the bottom to activate the preamp or use an external one. Its a universal turntable I must say.

yeah i like that about the turntable too.. but when u sample records and put them in your mpc, do u have to connect it from a mixer or can u just plug a cable in from the turntable to the mpc?

It comes with its own RCA cables, connected, as the output. When you select phono, yes you would need a pre-amp or a mixer for the signal to make it to your mpc. Switch it and the signal comes in regardless. But I would connect it to an amp and eq if I was you. You know, only sample the parts you feel.
