Am working stuff out on an mpc 2500 (currently free JJOS) and would like to know if there is any sort of way of reducing the 'clicks' heard in a sample that I've chopped up and converted to a patch phrase.
I figured that if I chop it up into many sections - then it would be smoother but that appears to not be the case.

Any help/ideas on this welcome.

thanks

This sometimes happens if the sample you've chopped up is not a perfect loop. I find that by increasing the tempo of the track that i'm playing a patched phrase over, it reduces the prominence of the clicks.

Otherwise, I more often than not just take the chops and lay them all out over the pads for increased control. I don't like using patched phrase all that much to be honest!
