Hi there.
My question is this;
I'm currently looking to expand my djing setup with an effects module in the send/return loop (was thinking about maybe getting a boss delay pedal or something) Then I realised that I could probably kill two birds with one stone and get a decent sampler in the bag for use in my own productions.
So what I'm wondering is this; If i put an MPC with built in effects (ie a 2500 or a 2000xl with an EB card in it) into the send/return loop of my decks, whether I could send audio from the decks through the effects section of the MPC and straight back into the mixer instantaneously? Essentially using the MPC like any other effects unit.
Also would it be possible to set up the mpc to help me perform live edits (e.g. beatmasher in traktor // one of the effects on a kaoss pad) Such as by recording a loop and then editing it by changing the length/start point (rot?) as it's playing out. Or would this style of editing be more feasible using a delay pedal with a gater and changing the time & length of delays & gating?
Thanks to anyone that can help me out with this
