Im trying to extract my beats from the MPC 1000 JJ OS 3.08 version through my M-Audio Fast Track Pro Soundcard and Adobe Audition. In the recording I noticed clicks, pops and other little sporadic noises that would randomly ruin my mp3/wav version of the beat. After playing with the latency levels of the soundcard and finding no solution I was able to determine that the all the distorting noises were coming directly from the MPC itself. Do I need an internal upgrade for the machine? I felt like this could be a fairly common problem so hopefully someone can help me out! Thanks.

It could be down to any number of things. Whilst the MPC 1k is quite a simple machine, it contains alot of components that can go wrong. The hard drive might be faulty and may not be saving your files properly. It could be the machine's internal processor, audio outputs.....anything really.

I doubt it's a software issue - sounds like it could be a hardware problem. Best thing to do is take it to an appropriate store and have it checked out/repaired/upgraded/etc.
