Where can you buy an external scsi storage device?

Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum so first of all hello!

I'm gradually teaching myself how to use the mpc 2000XL without a manual and making quite good progress. I've figured out how to make beats, sample etc. One of the things I'm trying to figure out at the moment is trying to make one pad play at a time, at the moment when i press one pad, then press another, the other pad plays over it. Just wanted to know where you can buy a scsi storage device and how much it will roughly cost?

Re the pad question.... go into program/params and then highlight overlap and press open window. that'll open a window where you can select what pad to mute the current sound.

Re scsi ... just hit up scsiforsamplers either at scsiforsamplers.com or you can find him lurking around this forum. I've bought a couple of things recently and he's real helpful and gives great service.

If you want a used Zip Drive: www.ebay.com

you dont know what your gonna get with ebay, but with scsiforsamplers, they always send my shit fast, packaged real nice. They also give you a free zip disk

Check your local craigslist. I have gotten a few drive for cheap. Make sure its a SCSI drive though and not a zip parallel.
