im using reason via rewire in pro tools, and assigning different sound modules to different midi channels in the mpc . With rewire when u add an instrument track the rewire box comes up and u assign reason to a different channel each time, and u can have all different modules assigned to different midi channels in the mpc and record ur sequence.
i want to do the same with xpand in pro tools but when i choose an instrument it plays on all the channels on the mpc i cant assign it to individual channels. so i cant open more then 1 instrument at the same time it will only play the highlighted instrument track. I can record a midi performance in pro tools and then open another instrument track with another instrument and hear them both, but i want to use the mpc as the sequencer not pro tools, and use it the same as im using reason rewire in my mpc.
anyone thanks.

You have to set the instrument or MIDI tracks to record-enabled mode (red record button blinking). I bumped into the same issue some weeks ago.. a head-scratching experience till I figured it out.
