how can i make my own .pgm drumkits for the mpc 2000classic

you make programs on the mpc... you record samples, then trim them, then assign them to pads. after that go to your save menu and save the PGM.


just to let you know, SCSI is a type of cable and data transfer system. it is sort of like firewire, usb, IDE, etc.. and the mpc2000 comes with "a scsi" built into the case: look at the back and you will see a scsi port.

you have something comming in the mail... what exactly is comming? a scsi CD-rom, a scsi ZIP drive, a SCSI hard drive, a SCSI card reader?


the mpc is a sampler, it samples. you dont need to run a program to get sounds on to your mpc, just run the computer sound into your mpc and record what ever you want.. then save the sound. get this cable to do this:

yeah it was that guy who went on a spam spree calling lampdog a bunch of names... he must have gotten ban/deleted.

this thread asked about methods of making PGMs for the mpc, and it was written in a context that seemed like he didn't know it was possible to do that with the mpc itself.


P.S. had I realised the guy was spamming the sh!t out of the forum with 25 anti-lampdog threads then I would have not posted in this thread.
