hey was wondering if someone could help me im new to this just brought a mpc 1000 and got some yamaha msp3 studio monitors the guy where i brought em gave me what i think are rca cables they only fit to the digital in and out on my mpc doarnt they spose to go in the stereo out ? do i need some adaptor ? if so what type
hanging to use this machine real bad :(

yea the diagram shows it going into a mixer intova amp then to the monitors shits confusing man thought i could just run the monitors straight out of it 4 now and if so wat cables do i need why cant i find it in the manual can someone just tell me goin mad :angry:

according to the yamaha site your monitors have these inputs:
Balanced XLR, balanced phone jack and unbalanced RCA jack inputs

according to the mpc1000 manual you have the following outputs:
Stereo output (L and R) 1/4-inch phone x 2 unbalanced +11dBu, output impedance 1k Ohms, Max. output level +17dBu
(you also have four individual outs and an S/PDIF out)

So, connect the unbalanced main outs on the MPC to the unbalanced RCA in on the monitors. So that's 1/4 inch ts cable to RCA.

ok thanx 4 replying so i just need say Hosa CYR-102 Y-Cable - 1/4-inch TS to Two RCA and plug that to my stereo out to my monitors?
