Show me the way!

I know this may sound weak, but i just got my mpc a few days ago and going through the manual is a pain in the A$$, i found a few video's on individual topics on youtube, and i found these tutorial but you have to pay 40 $$ which...i would rather invest in buying ram. so my question is does anyone know of any good place for leaning how to operate the beast which is the mpc 2500?? Any help would be appreciated.
Also what is the best solution for buying cables i have tons of rca cables around, but no 1/4 inches, should i get the 1/4 to rca adapters or will that not be as good as buying good quality 1/4 inch cables.
LOL another question, is anyone using a sound card to take the sounds from the mpc into the computer as individual tracks (thought the 8 out), if so what sound card are you using, or what would you recommend?

I also have an mpd 24 from my DAW days, is there anyways i can use it for more Q slider's via midi?

the manual + the search on the forums = all the info you will ever need for the 2500

as far as the cables, I would either (A) scrap the wires and get the correct amount of TRS/TS cables needed or (B) Clip off the ends and solder on TS connections and then buy the last few TRS

Regarding the interfaces...yes many members have them, there are a sh*t load of combinations and your best bet is to visit musicians friend or a similar site where you can read the specs and determine the best choice for you

Invest ur money in Ram expension instead of tutorials.
Invest a lot of time in getting to know the machine by just trying to make beats with the manual next to u.
It just takes some time and practice.
