hi everyone.
so basically i've got a really dumb problem but no idea how to solve it that far.
i just bought mpc 2500, never worked on any mpc before.
i turn it on, MODE+7 (PROGRAM) i put a sample on pad a01 and when i hit a01 i hear nothing.
when MODE+6 (trim) i hit any pad i hear the sample, but cant program so that i hear diffrent samples
on diffrent pads.
when i hit a pad in the program menu should i hear it?
when i hit a pad in the main screen should i hear a sample?
i tought yes, but i dont.
how the hell should i program it?
no mute, solo nor anything is done for sure.
any help would be appreciated.
i did some searching on the forum but i guess no one had such stupid question:)
cheers

Ask yourself are there any mixer or effects settings that are in the way of your sound?
Are you following the manual on how to load samples?

What about mixer, parameter and/or program settings, try to load into a different pad(s) also.

whoa there homie, you gonna set yourself up to not get much help around here. Lamp is offering you trouble shooting help so fall back....

have you checked to see if the internal is set to off? If so the pads wouldnt make any audio but would produce midi notes as if you were using it as a controller.

thats why i said 'no offence':) and i'm grateful for all the help.
i'm not sure what is the 'internal' and where to set it to off but that could solve the problem.
any help?
