New User's MPC Problems

I Just bought my mpc 1000 and installed the free JJos.
I am trying to use it for over a month now, but i still have problems with the mpc.
Does anyone has a clear tutorial how to chop and sample on the free JJos?
The most problems i have is with the bpm...

I hope you guys can help me!

to be honest you should read your manual man... or even purchase the one that this site offers for your 1000. i copped it and found that it helped alot.

oh.. even better use google and youtube.com... infact youtube.com prob gonna be your better option.

I know youtube and google are THE searching sites for this kind of thing, but I tried them allready, and ended up with nothing... do you maybe have some keywords I could use with google or youtube?

even buy his dvd... i got vol.1 & 2 and that helped even more as you can do what he is doing.

the BPM problem is the one that's I'd like to be answered...

Or is it like i do now, with trail and error tempo changing after flipping the sample...

mainly with trial and error mate.

if you looking for the BPM get your loop you have in the mpc and find out how much bars it is.

once you done this set the bars (2 / 4 / 8 etc) then hit record and play the loop... now keep the loop going whilst adjusting your tempo to get it perfectly looping. once you got it you mite find that your loop in going too fast or too slow.. that is when you start using your time stretching etc...

the more you do it the more you will know roughly what tempo are certain loops just by hearing them.

but honestly man... invest in a manual or buy those dvds from the guy in the link i gave you... seems like you could really use them.
