How do i sample stuff into the MPC500?

Hello. I'm new to MPC'ing and would like to know some information on how to sample. Do i have to have a turntable to sample into the MPC? Or can I use my computer (iTunes) and grab some music then import it to the MPC?

You dont absolutly have to sample from a turntable. If you do just make sure you are running it through a mixer or phono amp and then into your MPC. But you can also transfer wav. files into your MPC and chop em up from there. But yeah peep the manual.

Am i going to need an Audio Interface?
