the metronome tempo got to match exactly with the sample tempo,
or you can pitch/timestretch the sample to match the metronome tempo
here are some sample calculators

midi sync, time stretch your sampl to the tempo your working at. truncate or untruncate seems like you have truncated to much it wont stay on beat.

try putting in an extra sequence of nothing for 1 bar so all midi can catch up

other then that ...i dont know!!

MrMajesticJammin wrote:I also have the same problem on finding the right tempo. So what is tap temp? Can some one explain to me? Thanks

tap tempo is the big button that says 'tap tempo'.
you tap it in beat with the music and it sets your sequence bpm to the same tempo you are tapping out.

so the idea is, play the sample, then tap the tempo to make the sequencer match the sample.

then hit play on the sequencer and it should be close to the same speed as the sample/loop.

These are the most basic of questions which highlight how little you know about the machines and sampling.

This has to move to the appropriate forum.

You have to chop the samples to sync with the beat. It does not matter whether you are on MPC or korg Triton.
Also you should chop up your text before posting.
