mpc 1000 problems!!!

Hello! (sorry for my English, I'm french!!! so I hope you'll understand..)

Here is my problem:
I can record a sample, slice it,.. the sound is played when I press play but there is no sound at all when I press the pads!!
I've try with new pads.. same problems
I've try my pads on an another mpc 1000.. there are working very well. and they are working very well under MIDI mode.

Please help me with my problem!!

you don't mention assigning your sample to a pad. try that. and you'll probably want to take note of the difference between 'note on' and 'one shot'.
the manual covers the detials.
