Just bought an LPD8 which I'm using in Cubase. I'm new to midi so the software / editor has left me baffled.
If I load up the controller before the sequencer it looks ok. As I click on each preset the values alter accordingly for each one. Trouble is that when I load up the sequencer there's no input showing from the pads.
If I load the sequencer first the pads work ok but when I open the editor the values don't change when I select the presets.
As regards the 8 nobs on the right - I read about control/program change messages but none of that actually shows me what to do.
As another person said on this forum the LPD8 documentation is useless for a beginner. Does anyone know where I can find understandable info on all this?
