M audio project mix i/0 mpc 4000

hi im new to the mpc 4000 and the m audio project mix i/o and i was having trouble hooking my mpc 4000 up to my project mix im not sure if i have the midi plugs in wrong or what but i have been struggling for sometime now. And i also wanted to hook up my motif 6 to the project mix also if any 1 could help that would be great thanks.

Hook up one machine at a time. Get one working correctly then move to the other.
Which one you wanna hook up first and what EXACTLY have you tried already? Be specific cause
we aren't mind readers.
