Whats up,

I'm new to these forms and am looking for an opinion on a good software program for producing? I have been drumming for over 3 years and have an appreciation in music so I'm not clueless...opinions are appreciated.

http://www.tweakheadz.com/guide.htm Sidebar section should have something about Software.

What search terms did you use in google/yahoo search engine to find this forum?

download install ableton live 8

the "drumrack" and way it works is very similiar to how you will utilize an mpc in production

http://www.ableton.com/live-for-beat-creators watch the video at that link about the ableton drumrack
you can use your computer keypad to trigger em if needed too if you have no midi pad/keyboard
