noob here....
thought i'd combine my questions here
i have had an mpd16 for many years now.....i quite like it but i'd like a much more 'sensitive' experience....i've just bought into some great drum samples and i would like to accurately fingerdrum at much lower velocity ranges to exploit the quality of the sounds
i'm wondering how good the lpd8 is for covering the range of velocities...i have an lpk-25 and find that the velocity curve (which is unchangeable), doesn't suit my playing and is very hard to trigger softly,..is this the case with the lpd8
if i could 'mod' the mpd16 i'd be happy to keep using it (though i like the rotaries on the lpd)
the last thing...using and mapping 2 at the same time....8 pads won't cut it for me, so i was thinking that 2 lpd's would be better on all counts, if it is possible....i'm using logic pro on a mac with battery and kontakt 4 for drum samples
any help , with regards to any of the above q's , would be greatly appreciated
cheers
