Hello
I recently bought the mpk 49 (I know this forum is dedicated to the MPC, but it the mpk has some of these functions)
I'm still learning to play with him. I wonder how I can make a beat like that in beginning of this song

I use Cubase 5.1 and I wonder if it is possible to do this with 49 mpk
Thanks

Yes, it's possible.

Load a snare sample into Groove Agent One and assign a quick control to the coarse parameter.

OH Thanks!
But how to do this is with the functions of the keyboard? MPC does not have a function for this?

You can't do this only with the MPK49. It's just a MIDI controller.

Simplified:

MPC = control surface + sequencer + sampler

Your setup = MPK49 + Cubase MIDI tracks + Groove Agent One

I don't know. According to the manual the 12 velocity levels are fixed.

110 120 127
78 89 100
45 56 67
12 23 34

Maybe you can change these levels with the Vyzex Editor?

I use the latest version of vyzex and from what I see this function is not configurable.
This function only serves to velocity??
This kind of beat has any specific name ?
In Mpc (models in geral) the function 16 level is configurable?
