changing 24 bitrate to 16 bitrate

I have a TON OF SOUND THAT THAT MY MPC200 XL WILL NOT READ DUE TO THE FACT THERE ARE NOT 16 BIT

HOW CAN I CHANGE THESE SOUND TO A 16 BIT RATE

you could use Audacity to open the files and then re-save (export) them with a different bit depth.

easiest way right here for multiple files..

d/l the program at http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dv ... verter.htm, install . open program, click "MP3 & Audio", then "Free Audio Converter".. adjust the settings you want to convert to. and drag files into the program and click convert..

easy... i did this to convert my 7gb of battery 3 drums that were 24bit to 16bit..

whats also great about the program is it can convert anything to wav, mp4/FLAC/flv/avi/wmv

You can use quicktime to convert to 16 bit wav. I don't know about multiple files simultaneously, I've never really used it that much.
