Need Some Pro Help on This One(KN)

Hello I have posted before and got a response before but it didnt work. I am having trouble getting reason to connect with my mpc. I have connected the midi out to the midi in on my midisport 1x1, set the mpc to midi and device1a, did the settings in reason still no response my computer is not picking the mpc up. I press the pads and it doesnt pick up the mpc but when i press my usb keyboard picks it up just like that. I need help badly to get this thing working and would be grateful for the person or people that can help me i have spendt days on youtube and my setup is not working like the others thanks in advance for your help.

Some advice for you Kyle.

Post your issue ONCE in the most appropriate forum.
If your issue is SPECIFIC TO A PARTICULAR MODEL, post in the corresponding sub-forum.
Do not double/ triple post what is essentially the same problem with different titles, this will get your threads locked.

The question of how to use REASON with an MPC has been covered in these forums and all over YOUTUBE, if you still can't get it to work it is possible that YOU are failing to understand and apply the information correctly.

I suggest that you start here viewforum.php?f=11 and learn to use the search function.

Try entering Reason + MPC into the search field and take it from there.

Make sure your MPC is sending midi to the correct port/ channel, this is the source of many setup problems.

Certainly doesn't help that he posted elsewhere from his og thread.

I'll just mention again that the Jeremy Ellis video I mentioned makes it too simple. Matter of fact he also uses a midisport.
