Help with connections

I have two studio monitors, a mackie 802vlz mixer and an mpc1000. i was wondering if its possible for me to have my output go through my mixer through my speakers for both my pc and mpc1000 while at the same time, have inputs through the mixer to record into the mpc1000?

I don't see why your disired config shouldn't work.

Hey so It mostly makes sense but I'm just wondering, do i use those same ouputs that would go into my comp and just put them in my mpc instead to record into it? the l3/l4 alt output. or can i use the main outputs to go into the mpc?

^^^ I don't see why alt 3/4 shouldn't work. If you can use this to send a feed to a recorder, it should work for your mpc as well.

There's enough connections to work with both the mpc & recorder/daw.
