MPD18 Install problems, please help

Hey whats going on, first of all I'm new here. But I just purchased a MPD18 and i plugged it in and the lights came on and everything but the computer is not installing it and the mpd18 edit won't even recognize it. Can anyone help?

did you download the latest drivers and stuff from akaipro.com?

there are no drivers for mpd18.. sounds like a usb problem..

do they still offer the app like the one that they had for the 16?

maybe a usb problem... what OS you running exactly?

i am running windows vista, I have tried it on every usb port on the computer and on a usb hub

How about contacting Akai Customer Service, surely they can help you out??
