Help: MPC500, MicroKORG, Electribe (MIDI) setup (+ ableton?)

Hello MPC Forums. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer. I've recently gotten my hands on a bit of gear and I'm having trouble making it sync properly via midi. I have a small hardware setup and also a computer setup. They are currently not speaking to one another but I'd love to make that happen if possible.

Part 1 - My primary focus is being able to use the MPC500 as my controller and sync the MicroKORG and Electribe MX with it.

My kit: (hardware)
Mackie 1202
MPC 500 (midi in, out)
Korg Electribe EMX (midi in, out thru)
Korg MicroKORG (midi in, out, thru)

1. I've fiddled with the MPC a lot, trying to get the midi to talk to the microkorg and I can't seem to get it right. I want to be able to play keys on the microkorg and record the notes on the mpc.. then be able to play back the mpc sequencer and hear the microkorg.

2. I want to sync the timing of the Electribe with the mpc. I like the electribe's sequencer and i have loops and things to use already.. so i just need the timing to sync.. like i hit play on the mpc and the electribe also plays.

I'm sorry to be such a noob about this but If anyone could give me a step by step on how to set up my midi on this it would be greatly appreciated!! (THANKS!)

And um.... Part 2 - Software / Computer

If anyone feels like delving into the next thing I'd love to try.. How do I get my MPC to sync with ableton and does anyone have workflow ideas? (Like do you use your MPC as a controller, do you copy midi files from the mpc to ableton? or do you record the MPC into ableton? do you sync the timing of ableton and the other devices when recording?)
