Anybody use PrePal?

Just curious as well as wanting to put some info out there for those that don't know. I heard about prepal used gear appraisals and thought how much it could help by letting folks know what certain trends are with gear pricing.

Oh yes, it's been a couple of years since I last opened that site

But seems to be a good site, although I wouldn't rely 100% on it.

Don't rely on the values quoted on Prepal to be realistic, as the data there is too old.

For instance Prepal says the selling price of a MPC 2000XL is $811 and a MPC 2000 is $703.

Looking at when the pages and statistics are generated it still seems to be updated frequently. The main problem is more that it also takes into account classifieds and used gear boards and such, where you never know if the item is really sold for the mentioned price (which is usually too high as we all know). That's what skews the image and I'd guess most of the prices are really somewhat too high.
