just brought mpc 2500 for $200

i just got it for cheap but is it broke. i cant hear no sounds when im triggering the pads except when im in trim and load mode, when im in the main screen and attempt to try to play a pad or a sequence, nothing comes out. i tried creating programs and sequence with my samples and still no sound in the main screen

ive readthe manual like 3 times and checked youtube but no luck please please somebody help me

if u have a software based daw like reason run the mp as midi controller see if the pads trigger a signal, if not just get new sensors from mpcstuff.com

A $200 dollar movie prop is what you bought

Do you know how much is it to fix and repair those, not to mention the rare parts?! You're better off getting your money back and save a little bit more and get the real thing. Capish.

yea the pads trigger a signal in reason and in cubase. i can only use the seqencer in the mp thru cubase, not the mp as a standalone device. i get no sound only in trim and load screen

so you get a sound on the load screen, but not when on the main screen?
have you tried using the headphones output to see if you could hear something?

update the os as well, and where are u getting the sample from?

i got it workin. it was thedamn mixer ch were muted wtf. thx everyone for ur help. wat a great investment for $200

You might want to restore the unit to factory default settings so you know the unit is fully working.
