Did you consider that maybe the pad sensors could be bad?

It is not the JJos, I say this because on my box it double triggers and sometimes even triggers a pad thats no where close to the pad I strike & I have the original akai os on my box still.

So like dabmeister said, your sensors could be bad

i appreciate the replies guys, and damn thats kinda a bummer if it is the pads, correct me if im wrong but is there a pad upgrade or is it just a pad fix, does it make them more sensitive or no? again the help is greatly appreciated but finally i had downloaded the jj os1 4.99 i believe which isnt the pay version, then i squirled out and tried to reset it, but nothing, so i went down to the 3.92(?) version of os1 and so i should just rock that one or what?

RTFM!

see the instructions RIGHT AT THE TOP of the manual about changing data wheel sensitivity:
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/manual_e.htm

4.99 is OS1, not the free version, it says so here:
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/

you don't reset to get back to the Akai OS, you reset to clear any settings and presets that might be stored. to go back to the Akai OS you need to download it and install it, similar to how you installed the JJOS. It says so at the bottom of this page:
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/update312.htm
