I recently got a MPC 2000XL with an internal floppy drive and I'm having a little trouble loading samples onto it via floppy.
If I format using the following settings, when I place the floppy in the MPC it shows up as "Type=?????" rather than "Type=PC".

If I format on the MPC to MPC2000XL format (shows "Type=MPC2000xl" and then place the floppy into my PC and drag files onto it, I can load my folder full of files onto the floppy, but when I put it back into the MPC the type goes back to "Type=?????".
I've tried to change the "Default Allocation Size" to 512 bytes, 16kb, and 32kb and had the same result. The "File System" tab has no other options than FAT.
Am I missing something really obvious or is there something wrong with my internal floppy drive?
