If you are new to the MPC range and need some basic help, this is the place to post your question. Please stick to the following guidelines as this will help us help you!

1. If you are looking for books to fast track your production skills, look no further than our own sister-site, MPC Samples.com. We have ebooks covering mixing, eq, drum layering and our groundbreaking tutorial series, 'Beat Making on the MPC...'. More info about all these here:

http://www.mpc-samples.com/section.php/ ... tutorials/

http://www.mpc-samples.com/section.php/ ... tutorials/

2. Please use a descriptive title for your topic. Please avoid titles like 'Help me', 'I have a problem' -people are less likely to read your topic.

3. Please state exactly what MPC you have - very important!!!!!!!

4. There is a search function on this board - please use this first - instructions are given on the search page.

5. Please explain your issue in as much step-by-step detail as possible. Just saying stuff like 'my MPC dont work' is useless - how can we help if that's the only info we have?

6. Please be patient - most sensible questions get answered eventually, but in the end if you dont get the help you need, make sure you contact Akai as it's ultimately their responsibility to provide support.

7. Please respect everyone on this board and avoid posting porn, asking for or posting cracks and please do not post anything remotely racist - anyone breaking these rules will get deleted and banned!

8. The hosting, bandwidth and administration for this site is paid for by sales on our sister site, http://www.mpc-samples.com. Hence we DO NOT allow posts about other sample CD companies - sorry, but business is business and thats the way it goes!

If you want to support this site, why not buy a sample pack from http://www.mpc-samples.com ? They are low cost, contain hundreds of high quaity drum samples, loops and breaks and are available as digital downloads directly after purchase.
