If i feel i have reached a 'brickwall/dead end' with a project, save, start a new one and forget about it for a few weeks, even months. When you return you should have a different angle on where to go with it.

Turn off your MPC.
Just look at it until you are re-aquainted with how exceptional this design concept is, and the beauty in its execution. For this is no mere Roland or Yamaha or Cubase or Dell, this IS AN MPC
Look at it until you rediscover the reason you needed it and then bought it. The sort of music that you thought it could unlock for you.
Then hear the music it should be playing from the back of your own mind.

dude work has been stressing me for a couple weeks now, i like to turn my manic mind off when the mpc goes on. loose yourself for a while, regardless of the results.
