Memory Card and Memory Expansion for MPC1000

Looking at the specs...

Does the MPC have 2 memory slots?




and..... why does the 256 Sandisk card cost more than the 128?

I don't have the 1000 myself, but i figure the compactflash is just for transferring and saving. Just like the floppy or zipdrive on my 2000xl.
The only memory that holds AND plays the samples is the RAM memory. that's 16 - 128 on the mpc1000 ( it's only 32mb on my mpc )

The reason the 256mb is more expensive than 128mb is because it stores twice the amount of data.

wait a minute... change of question... Why does the 128 cost MORE than the 256?

the 256 is $38 and the 128 is $68

that link is not right man. Some brands are more expensive than others though. just cop the cheapest you can find, it don't make any difference.
