Yo

I got a few samples with reverb on it and I would like to get rid of that reverb

is there a way to do it ?
can it be done on SoundForge or Adobe Audition ?

Well you can simulate it by fading the sound out early or something like that, but it doesn't necessarily sound very good...

Nope is basically the same thing as removing vocals from a song or stripping instruments from a song to get an acapella, it can't be done.

noise gate but it wont sound great...invert the reverb tail and layer over the top...wont sound that great either...

recycle will work to some extend.
I think i took some reverb out of an accapella a few months back with a Waves plugin. But i forgot what plug-in it was. Maybe with IR-1 with an impuls of a very small room.....
