anybody here keep there samples on their comps to mess with on midi in an NDC way?
im currently using fl studio's edison to grab loops and then put them in slicex to mess around with chops.It's kind of a outta the way process but i'd share if anyone else has anything interesting they use. I noticed the way i used chopping on the actual mpc was kinda stale perfect time based chops and ever since i got to mess around with different start points its been a better experience. I was on the verge of getting jjos but i might settle for a decent record player if i can speed this process up. If i hear a few hollers about jjos i might just give in but I dont mind keeping my samples running on the mpc off midi till i think there perfect to load into the mpc.
