Hello everybody, I'm new here and new to the Mpc world.

I have bought my MPC 2500 SE just this week, having lots of fun with it, but today I had to face my first problem. I hope that some of you guys can help me.
I just did my first beat in the song mode, which consists of few sequences. Some sequences are having different track settings than other, but when I convert the song into the one sequence, the whole song is played in the set-up from the first sequence/step.
Like I said, I'm new to this, it's obvious I'm doing something wrong, I just can't figure out what.

According to my manual, I have to do something in the Seq Edit mode, but I just don't understand what.

Any help is welcome. Thank you in advance.

Fail

mpc only reads track assignments from the very first track and leaves it like through the whole songmode song.
That's all you get, make ALL sequences match up with the first sequence track assignments and your problem will be solved. For historical learning purposes, all mpc's do this very same thing. Fix it and you are golden.

ie

seq1 / trk1 piano / trk2 snr / trk3 kik / trk4 horn / trk5 string
seq2 / trk1 piano / trk2 snr / trk3 kik / trk4 horn / trk5 string
seq3 / trk1 piano / trk2 snr / trk3 kik / trk4 horn / trk5 string
seq4 / trk1 piano / trk2 snr / trk3 kik / trk4 horn / trk5 string

Track assignments must be the same as the first seq all the way through the song. So when you convert to seq or if you play it back in song mode you will get a good playback.

I swear I just answered this 2 times in the last 2 days, lmao.
