Ive been makin beats on reason and the ASR-10 for about 2 Years. I aint real new to this shit. But im about to buy a MPC2000 off a friend. Ive already made a couple nice beats off of this. But ive seen some people do somethin where you selct one of the samples loaded into the MPC and it makes a different pitch of that one sound across all the pads. Its like the 16 Levels Feature, except instead of changing velocity across the pads, it changes the pitch. Do you know how i can do this on the 2000? What is it called when you do this?

I assume that its the same as 2kxl, when you select the 16 levels you can select velocity or note variation by turning the wheel when you are in this screen.
dope feature.

with the 2kxl you can use autochromatic which will pitch the sample all across a keyboard
