What up, I'm having a little trouble loading the akai sound library that comes with the mpc 1000..
i tried the steps in the "loading a file" section of the manual but it isnt clicking with me 4 some reason. When i put in the memory card, it reads on the mpc as drums&percussions, internal, and misc programs (all folders..most r prolly familiar with this).
but i dont know how to get to the actual samples or open the folders..
and when i go to create a new program, and i try to assign samples to the pads, no new sounds from the library show up (only the ones preloaded on the mpc), so i'm having trouble getting the sounds assigned to the pads too.
this forum helped me set the mpc up with the right cables yesterday so i thought to post up here, thanks in advance
UPDATE (about 2 minutes later):
****LOL...I cracked the code. i wasnt scrolling THROUGH the folders using the right arrow.
