hey. a quick question.
do u have a suggestion on how 2 set up the pads when making ur own full kit. ex.where should i put the kik,sn, conga....etc.
i just got it so if someone could give me a tip i would appreciate it...... :?:

There isnt a certain way you hafto, or your supposed to.


But the bottom left, usually my kicks. Bottom right, snares.
One row above the kick i do the hats.
top row goes to main samples.
one row down from main samples are bass tones.


Everybody usually got there own way of settin them up though.

Think about how you tap drums (you know when your waiting in the elevator, trying to annoy your girl, bored and playing drums on what ever surface your near).
I put my kick near my right hand and snare near my left

yeah, you're going to come up with your own format but im like blowout dome... i put my kicks in the bottom right & my snares on the bottom left. i used to put the main samples on the top row & squeeze the hats & any other percussion in wherever they would fit but im getting away from that cuz im learning to make more expressive drum patterns & i need everything in order.
