I just got my first MPC 3000 the other day and I'm having trouble setting it up. I have my turntable and mixer all set up and plugged in to my MPC but it still says that it's waiting for an input signal. I'm baffled by what to do. Any advice on what to do?

The turntable has to have a record playing.
Mixer has to have turntable input, mixer has to be actively outputting main outs to mpc. You'll then you will have your mpc input signal.
Stop getting automatically offended when you see gold letters!
