Hi everyone, I'm new to the boards and to the MPC. So far have been trying to read as much as possible from the manual, the 'Beatmaking on the MPC1000' and on this forum. I'm using a second hand MPC1000 with JJOS1 4.99. I've switched between JJ0S1 and 2, but am sticking with OS1 for now.
When in trim mode, pads 14 and 15 act as 'play to' and 'play from'. Before switching OS, I seem to remember these buttons would play the entire sample from or to the selected start or end point. Now, my MPC seems to only play for approximately 1 second when using these buttons, regardless of how much of the sample comes before or after the selected trim point. What could have changed? How can I fix this?
