Hello everyone, if you see my name, you'll understand why I ask this question. I'm new with the MPC and i'm trying to produce my first beats.

My question for you is, how can I record something that I played on the MPC on Cubase Le4.

MPC1000
Audio interface: US-122L
Put my midi cable into MIDI IN 1 on MPC and on my interface in MIDI OUT

If I click the record button on Cubase, my mpc also starts recording. And if I recorded something on my MPC and i click "Play" on cubase I can hear it. But when I record on Cubase then it doesn't record any sound. All I want to do is, play something on mpc and then record it on Cubase so I can play the whole song back and eventually edit it.

You need to do two things...make sure you have your audio interface routed so that the inputs are active in cubase.

AND...

You select the track you're going to record on in Cubase as a stereo track, select it's input to be the input you activated when you set up the routing, highlight it as well as turn on the record button for that track.

It sounds like the midi sync is ok. It's just that you need to get the recording stuff together in Cubase.
