Making sounds... sound thicker

Making sounds... sound thicker

sometimes I have sounds but they sound too thin what's the secret to making sounds thicker?

like strings, bass, synth sounds?

pre sampling run the sounds through a mixer with 3-4 band eq
buy a 30 band eq and run shit from there
you could change the tune of your sound only with drums
