my synth has stereo outputs. and the mpc has stereo ins. so is it just a matter of connecting them up. The mpc manual says "phone plug cables can be connected. Balanced phone plug cables are also supported". Do i take this to mean that unbalanced cables can be connected? I dont wanna mess anything up. Also how do i know if a cable is balanced. Is it if it has two black rings at the top mean its balanced. Or does that refer to mono or stereo or something? Maybe im too cautious .
