hallo pilchard

perhaps you can help me with two other problems.
my mpc boots nod every time the os from my zip... I have to get out the power plug from my zip and plug it bag in (wen the mpc is off).

my second problem is to load ALL_sequens_and_songs files from the zip. sum work and by some appears (SCSI ERROR) then the mpc hooked and the drive stops responding.

with the floppy drive these problems do not arise.

i hope you can help my.. i cantakt the akai support but the have no idea

they wont help you on old models... today a different company owns akai, when the 2000 came out they didn't own akai yet.

Honestly, this forum is the best support you will get for asking questions... or you can use a service like forat, vst service... which they repair machines if you cant do it yourself.

I think your main problem right now is the zip drives... I dont suggest using those. They are going to fail, if you rely on them they will lose data.

Your gonna have nothing but problems down the line with zip, I suggest you using floppies or a card reader. Even if you back it up to pc, the headache those things give aren't worth it long term..
