FITITNG BPM TO YOUR LOOP?.

greetings, newjack to the MPC world and i just copped a MPC 1000

Before enterting the AKAI promised land I used Logic Audio Platinum (which some of you are probably familiar with) and there is a function to set the tracks BPM to the exact BPM of your loop

Can it be done (and if so how?!!?).

i don't know if there is a tap tempo on the mpc 1000 but there is on the 2000 and 4000. play the sample and tap the tempo pad on the mpc and it should align close enough that if you fiddle, you can get the bpm bang on time.

I kinda answered your question on your MPC1000 forum thread a few minutes ago, it is specific to the 1K:
- no built in function for this:
- crunch those numbers: I described how to do it, and calculators are real cheap these days...!
