Hey guys, I have no experience with making beats before but after watching a bunch of MPC videos I decided I want one. I have no idea what I need to get stared besides an MPC and some sort of software. I have no problem spending a little money to get a nice product but I don't want to empty my bank account. Any help on what I should buy to get started would be greatly appreciated.

You don't even need the software if it's the proper MPC your after. Just get the MPC & some headphones. If feeling a bit more adventurous, then get some leads to plug it into your hifi. Then just start taking things from there, a bit at a time.
You'll also need some samples, so have some leads to go from a CD player to the MPC. The leads you'll need will be RCA/phono leads with 'phono to 1/4inch jack' adaptors. Or, a USB lead to go from a computer to the MPC & drop samples into the MPC.

If it's the Ren/Studio MPC then that involves computers & software, then all the leads etc.

But there's lots of info on the interweb about this sort of stuff so do a bit of research & it'll start making sense. Try downloading the manual for the MPC you want too.
