Any ideas on the best way to set this up?

Allright so i recently went from ITB to using mainly hardware and im trying to see the best way to set all this up. Ive read tweaks website and all that but i think i need something a little more specific. Heres what im working with:

Mpc2000xl (no 8 outs)
Roland s-330 sampler
Turntable
Vestax pmc-05 pro II
Cheap Behringer xenyx 1002 (http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/1002.aspx
Krk rockit 6"

And in the near future looking to add either a sp303 or 404 and a synth like microkorg or the ms-20 mini.

Now ideally this is what i would like to accomplish:

-Be able to sample into the 330 and then send that signal to sample onto the mpc
-Sample straight into the mpc
-Be able to scratch or audition records while the mpc is playing

Now where i get kinda confused in all this is how to route it so i dont get feedback loops when im into sample mode on the mpc. Maybe im making this more complicated than it is or maybe its not possible with the kind of mixer i have. if anybody could shed some light into how you would go about setting this up or atleast guide me into the right direction it would be much appreciated.

you have to make clever use of the limited options on your mixer or buy a slightly larger one with group outs or at least aux outs.

you have ten regular inputs on that mixer plus a two track in (cd/tape). so the input part is easy: just hook up every machine and your dj mixer to a channel on the mixer. use R+L where available and use channel 1 and 2 as another stereo pair.
these are also the only channels with eq so think carefully about what to hook up there if you want to use that eq.
i would rather use some patchbay to be flexible in hooking up the different machines to channel 1+2.
your dj mixer has its own eq so you do not need to use the mixer eq when sampling from vinyl.
to send everything from the mixer to your samplers is where it gets tricky.
one way is to use the fx that is on every channel and hook up the fx send to the input of the mpc or the roland to sample. but that will be mono!
the other way i see with your mixer is to use the control room out as another option to hook up one of the sample inputs. and there is the rca L+R output which has the same signal as the main out and can be used at the same time. (if you use this output for sampling and your monitors hooked up to the main outs i can be a problem with levels because your monitors will play very loud if you turn up the main fader to produce a high output for sampling.) maybe then it is better to hook up the speakers to cr out and the two sampler inputs to the main outs and rca L+R out so you have one control for the speakers and another control for the signal sent to the samplers.
to prevent feedback loops you have to switch of monitoring in the mpc, because you do not need that function because you can already hear what is beeing sampled via the channel it goes into your mixer. how that is done on the roland is one thing i do not know.

just think about signal flow like water or use a piece of paper to draw the cables and then hook it all up and try if it works the way you want it to.

Thanks a lot man that really clears up some things. Unfortunatly the left channel of my ctrl room out isnt working. Gonna start saving up for a better mixer in the mean time guess i have to fool around with them damn cables
