I've got a 1000 and I'm experiencing some trouble with putting songs together. Here's the process I go through – I figure it's probably the only way to figure out what I'm doing wrong.
First I sample individual drum sounds, assign them to pads and construct my drum pattern. Oh, and I name this program something new once it's finished. Usually I'll start with one of the internal programs and then add my own sounds to it.
Next, I add a bassline or something. I then convert this to a song. Once this is done, I copy the sequence and add more loops.
This is where the problem starts. Once I arrange these two sequence in song mode they, the program only recognizes the most recent samples I've assigned. Therefore, the original sequence is lost and replaced with the most recent sample I add. So, how do I get this to work? I think I have to get it to recognize a program change but nothing on here or in the
manual has explained this very well. Sorry for the long-winded question but I'm not sure how else to explain this problem accurately.
Thanks
