Wich is better for music production, MPD32 or MASCHINE MIKRO

Soo i wanted to get a music production hardware, and i was wondering in what should i spend my money. Right now i only want to produce, not to make live performace. i wanted to know wich is better for home production a mpd 32 or a maschine, because mpd is just a a controller for software and maschine has samples packed and its own software. Kinda hard because maschine is more expensive but i want to spend my money in good, i like more the mpd because of the knobs and sliders, but idk if i would need them that much if i do it in home, and not live. so anything would hel. thanks

well maschine comes with software... for the mpd you need to get software to use. "Better" is a tough thing to ask... both of them are the same (useless) without software. Do you already use any music programs like ableton or fl studio or something like that? If so, maybe get the mpd32.. if you dont have anything at all yet maybe look into getting the maschine.

Yeah like mr debauch said elaborate some. I have a full Mk1 Maschine and an MPD32 right in front of me here. Tell us more about your needs/wants with a potential setup. But it's too broad/subjective a question without knowing your specific needs.

But yeah eidrian3021, myself and others will answer all we can, but the more you tell us about what you might want to have capabilities for, the easier it is the recommend specific things.

maschine micro. mpd32 is not a sequencer.
