MPC sound samples?

Ive got nothing but drums on my MPC its driving me **** crazy

Where do you guys get sound samples from and how do you get things to work out with BPM?

Have you got any records or CDs and something to play them on?

Practice chopping instrument or vocal samples on your MPC or even on your computer, to 'get your ear in' on what makes for a decent sample. Look the 'open' samples (eg. just the sound you want playing by itself), but a lot of times there will be drums or something underneath and you can use filtering or panning techniques to overcome this problem.

And don't always look for loops. Stabs, one shots and other chopped up sounds are just as useful in the creation process if programmed and placed well.
