Just bought an mpc 1000. Works fine.
Got a CF card with lots of sample files, ie sounds .
How do I load these sounds into the machine, ?
...They become a "program"...right?
Can't find reference to above in the manual.

Any help?

You got a CF card full of sounds and a MPC 1000. And you're asking me what to do? Stick it in the 1000 gotdammit! Look at the 1000. It says LOAD right there! What the hell are you doing for cripes sack?!!

They become Programs when you make them into Programs, which is is definitely in the manual, and as my esteemed colleague Mr. Ill Green has said will require loading the folder of sounds into memory first then assigning the samples to pads.

Here, let me look at the manual for you. There's this thing called "Table of contents" (page 6->) and it says the following:

Chapter 15: Save / Load

page 89 ->

Chapter 12: Program

page 66 ->

Now that wasn't so hard was it?
